Dr. Amit Roy has spent a career in energy systems and electrochemistry. He and Eggs alum Andrew Murphy dig into hydrogen and the localized production of oxygen. Dr. Roy has a background in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, the development of new materials, and integrated energy systems. In a prior life, Dr. Roy worked for AFC Energy PLC a fuel cell company, listed on the London Stock Exchange as the Head of Fuel Cells leading a team to develop alkaline fuel cells and system integration. Later, Dr. Roy went on to found his own company Engas UK. Dr. Roy is also currently working for the University of Portsmouth, UK as a Senior Lecturer in Renewable Energy Systems at the School of Energy and Electronic Engineering.
